As EC grows, we\u2019re continuing to bring together talent from different backgrounds, disciplines and markets, adding new perspectives to the way we think, create and deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the people who have recently joined the team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nick Charlton \u2013 Group Chief Financial Officer<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nick joins Event Concept as Group Chief Financial Officer with extensive international experience across digital media, advertising and technology, spanning commercial, financial and operational leadership. He has a strong track record of scaling businesses, leading transformation and bringing teams and stakeholders together across complex, multi-market environments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most recently, Nick was Chief Operating Officer of a London-based brand consultancy, alongside strategic advisory roles across the advertising industry. Previously, as Global SVP Commercial Operations at BBC Studios, he led Advertising Sales and Branded Content operations across 17 international offices and played a key role in the digital transformation of BBC Advertising. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in his career, Nick held CFO roles in venture and private equity-backed ad-tech businesses, where he built scalable operating models, led fundraising and strengthened governance through periods of growth.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having worked extensively across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the US, Nick brings a broad perspective shaped by working with investors, founders, broadcasters, rights holders and technology partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He joins Event Concept at an exciting time for both the business and the wider industry, focused on building the operational and commercial foundations for sustainable growth, helping EC scale effectively and enabling our teams to continue delivering exceptional work for our clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Reeve \u2013 Head of Content\u202f<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pete joins EC as Head of Content, leading and strengthening our growing content offering. Working closely with the Content & Creative teams, as well as teams across the wider business, he\u2019ll be helping shape how we approach content across client projects and EC\u2019s own communications, bringing together creative thinking and content expertise to support a wide range of needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pete brings 20 years\u2019 experience spanning broadcast, entertainment, music, computer games and XR. Within the events industry, his experience ranges from the London 2012 Olympic Games and Gartner\u2019s International IT Symposium to conferences for Google and CDW. He has also delivered high-profile content packages for the Isle of Wight Festival, Capital Radio\u2019s Jingle Bell Ball and Summertime Ball, and The X Factor Live Tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Laflin \u2013 Head of Crewing<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte joins EC as Head of Crewing, bringing 13 years\u2019 operational experience across the audiovisual and events industry, with expertise spanning crewing, logistics, transport and venue liaison. Her career has taken her from operational coordination through to senior roles at Wise Productions, Colour Sound Experiment and KSS, giving her extensive experience of managing the people, processes and logistics behind successful event delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte was drawn to EC by its collaborative culture and the scale and variety of projects the team delivers. With a passion for process planning and a talent for bringing departments together, she is focused on strengthening collaboration and transparency across teams, ensuring the right people are part of the conversation and have a clear understanding of shared priorities. Sustainability is also a key consideration in her approach, alongside empathy, attention to detail and a highly organised way of working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tu Hoang \u2013 Lead 2D Designer<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tu joins EC as Lead 2D Designer, bringing extensive experience across branding, experiential design and live events. His career has spanned everything from brand identity and campaigns to large-scale activations and immersive experiences, with work for global brands including Google, Nike, Netflix and Microsoft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having worked as part of multidisciplinary creative teams throughout his career, Tu is experienced in taking ideas from early concepts and pitches through to production and live delivery. At EC, he\u2019ll be working closely with the Creative and Account teams, helping shape visual direction and bring concepts to life with a strong eye for detail, brand and real-world execution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Georgios Pikoulas \u2013 Senior Technical Project Manager (Audio)<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Georgios\u2019 passion for sound and the energy of live production began at a very young age. From his teenage years, he knew he wanted to build a career creating and delivering live shows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a background in sound-focused studies, he quickly found himself drawn towards the wider technical and production side of live events. After working across a variety of corporate and music projects, he decided to leave his hometown and pursue his ambition abroad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After seven years in the UK, he is incredibly grateful for the opportunities he has had to grow as a Production Manager, working across different disciplines, productions and client requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is now excited to begin the next chapter of his journey with Event Concept, bringing his experience, passion and enthusiasm to the team while continuing to learn, develop and achieve great things together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dana Rizzo \u2013 Account Director, US<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Dana joins EC\u2019s New York office as Account Director, becoming part of our core US team and Sophie\u2019s wider Growth team. With a background spanning events, production, hospitality and account operations, she brings extensive experience from New York\u2019s creative and luxury events scene, working across high-end private events and experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her career has seen her progress from event production and sales into senior operational and director-level roles, giving her a strong understanding of both client relationships and the detail required to deliver exceptional experiences. At EC, Dana will be helping grow our relationships and opportunities in the US while supporting the continued development of our presence in New York. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
