New faces in our London office
As EC continues to grow globally, so does the incredible team behind it.
Our work has always been shaped by the people behind it, bringing together different perspectives across teams. As the business evolves, continuing to invest in that mix of experience and thinking is key to how we develop and deliver our work.
We’ve expanded our Growth team, now led by Chief Growth Officer Sophie Crosby, with new additions focused on strengthening our commercial approach. Alongside this, we’ve also welcomed new team members across our Production and Project teams, with further additions across the business.
Sophie Crosby – Chief Growth Officer
Sophie Crosby joined Event Concept as Chief Growth Officer to help shape the next phase of our growth, bringing together marketing, new business and sales under one joined-up strategy across the UK, US and beyond.
With over 20 years’ experience across live events, ticketing, martech and SaaS, Sophie’s career has taken a deliberately non-linear path through companies including Salesforce, Ticketmaster and Live Nation. That breadth of experience now comes together at EC, where she is focused on strengthening our commercial approach and building a more connected, insight-led pipeline.
Drawn to EC by both the work and the people behind it, Sophie is particularly interested in the role live experiences play in an increasingly digital world, and how meaningful, in-person moments create lasting impact. Working closely across the business, she is focused on aligning our creative output with long-term, sustainable growth, ensuring we continue to evolve alongside our clients and the environments they operate in.

Josh Caughey – Account Director
Josh joined Event Concept as an Account Director, working closely with clients to shape programmes around clear business objectives and deliver meaningful commercial value.
He has managed a broad range of events over nearly a decade, with particular strength in B2E, sales and employee engagement programmes. His focus is on helping clients create events that do more than land well in the room. He looks closely at what the business is trying to achieve, what the audience needs to leave with, and how the event can support both in a way that is useful and lasting.
With a background in live event operations and logistics, Josh brings a practical understanding of how events actually work. That foundation has allowed him to evolve into a more strategic role, where he looks to sharpen the initial brief, think clearly about purpose, challenge where needed, and build programmes that are fully aligned with business goals.
He began his career managing large-scale travel and live event programmes, including projects for up to 2,000 attendees and annual operations oversight for more than 12,000 festival and event travellers, before moving into the corporate events sector. Since then, he has managed accounts and projects for clients including ADP, Adobe, Arrow Electronics, BAE Systems, the Department for International Trade and the UK Hydrographic Office.
