Over the past year, EC has significantly enhanced its technology offerings, reinforcing our commitment to delivering top-tier event solutions. From cutting-edge audio and lighting equipment to the latest in video technology, our recent investments ensure we can cater to an even broader range of client preferences and project requirements.

Audio

At EC, we understand the impact of pristine sound quality. This year, we’ve expanded our inventory of white audio equipment, ensuring that our setups blend seamlessly into a variety of event aesthetics. Key additions include:

• Yamaha Mixing Consoles: The introduction of the latest Yamaha DM7 and DM3 desks marks a significant upgrade in mixing capabilities. The DM7, with its 24 + 4 faders and dual 12” plus a single 7” multi-touch screen, is ideal for diverse applications requiring precise audio control. The more compact DM3 is perfect for setups where space is at a premium yet high-quality sound must be maintained. Both units feature Dante audio networking, providing unmatched integration and audio quality

• White speakers: Our continual investment into d&b Audiotechnik now sees an expanded range to include: Y7P, Y10P, E8, E6 and T10 all finished in white. These speakers are not only visually appealing, but are known for their exceptional sound clarity and range, making them perfect for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate events.

Lighting

Lighting can transform an event space from ordinary to extraordinary. This year’s highlights include:

• Astera AX2 PixelBar: This wireless linear wash fixture, available in 1m and 0.5m lengths, offers individual LED control, high color rendering, and versatile mounting options. It’s perfect for creating customized lighting environments at concerts, corporate events, and television productions.

• Martin Mac One: We now stock 48 black and 8 white units of this versatile fixture, capable of serving as a beam, wash, and eye-candy unit. Its fresnel lens, high-intensity beam, and 4 to 27-degree zoom range allow for dynamic lighting effects that can adapt to any event theme.

Video and Digital Displays

We’ve invested significantly in advanced video and digital display technology:

• ROE Topaz Curve Panels: These flexible LED panels can curve up to 30 degrees, allowing for creative configurations that elevate any visual presentation. To support and enhance the capabilities of these panels, we have invested in essential infrastructure components. This includes the advanced Brompton Processing system and the Barco PDS-4K Switcher, which together ensure our LED setups deliver crisp, vibrant visuals for every occasion. Additionally, we have specifically added LSC Unitour Distros to ensure ultimate power control and reliability. 

• Digital Totems: Our new Viewsonic 55” digital totems are a sustainable alternative to traditional signage, perfect for displaying event agendas, welcome messages, or live video content.

• Millumin Media Server Rack: To manage complex multimedia presentations seamlessly, we’ve introduced the Millumin media server rack. This powerful tool integrates video, audio, and lighting, providing a cohesive and synchronized production environment that enhances both live and pre-recorded content.

• MacBook Pro M3s: We’ve upgraded our MacBook Pro stock with 16 of the latest M3 model for reliable video playback.

Dimming & Power Distribution

Understanding the need for reliable power solutions, we have introduced the Instagrid system to our toolkit:

• Instagrid ONE & LINK: These portable power solutions are game-changers for event production. The Instagrid ONE offers a lightweight yet powerful option for on-the-go energy needs, while the Instagrid LINK can combine multiple units for increased capacity, ensuring uninterrupted power supply throughout any event.
