Tate Modern is housed in the former Bankside Power Station located in Southwark on the River Thames.
The collections in Tate Modern consist of works of international modern and contemporary art dating from 1900 until today and is the most visited art gallery in Britain. Tate Modern is split into three main areas: the Boiler House to the north, Turbine Hall in the centre and the Switch House to the south. Throughout the areas several event spaces are on offer to suit a large variety of events.
