EC appoints Harriet Palmer as Sustainability Lead
We are thrilled to announce that EC Group has appointed Harriet Palmer as Sustainability Lead, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainability.
Harriet brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving sustainable change, making her an invaluable asset to our team.
Harriet holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She has a deep understanding of sustainable practices and has advised large corporations across various sectors on their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies and targets. Her passion for driving positive change makes her a perfect fit for EC.
“EC has done a huge amount of work to advance their sustainability efforts to date, and I am excited to take up the mantle and continue to drive us forward,” says Harriet. “There is real passion and creativity in the industry, and particularly at EC, so I look forward to harnessing this positive energy to overcome the challenges and explore the opportunities sustainability presents for us and our clients.”

She will work closely with our Green Team, our clients and suppliers to ensure our events are sustainable by design, helping us to maintain the momentum of our journey and in doing so influence the direction of the wider industry.
